With the ongoing police brutality and egregious human rights violations in Hong Kong, I request that the Canadian Government: 1) Hold Chinese officials accountable for human rights atrocities and police brutality by banning, sanctioning, and freezing the assets of Chinese Communist Party officials, Hong Kong Government officials, and the Hong Kong Police Force officials, as per the Justice for the Victims of Corrupt Foreign Officials Act (Sergei Magnitsky Law) (S.C. 2017, c. 21); 2) Provide humanitarian support for Hong Kongers, Tibetans, Uyghurs, Chinese, and other groups seeking asylum from the Chinese Communist Party; 3) Protect Canadians’ fundamental freedom from erosion, and proactively combat Chinese Communist Party interference in Canadian media and politics; 4) Investigate foreign influence into Canadian public and private institutions, including but not limited to Chinese-state funded and or Chinese-state affiliated Students and Scholars Associations, Confucius Institutes, and other state-sponsored political, cultural and private events, trips, expenses, and gifts; 5) Condemn China’s human rights violations, and end all exports of military/police goods and technology to China that are used for human rights violations by the Chinese Communist Party. La brutalité policière et les violations des droits humains se passent actuellement à Hong-Kong et car il y a un grand intérêt canadien au territoire, j’exige que le gouvernement du Canada: 1) Tenir les autorités chinoises responsables des atrocités commises contre les droits de la personne et la brutalité policière, en mettant des sanctions et en gelant les actifs des hauts fonctionnaires du parti communiste chinois, des “élus” du gouvernement de Hong Kong et des haut fonctionnaires de la police de Hong Kong, conformément à la loi sur la justice pour les victimes de dirigeants étrangers corrompus, (loi Sergei Magnitsky) (S.C. 2017, c. 21); 2) Procurer du soutien humanitaire aux Hongkongais, aux tibétains, aux Ouïghour et aux autres groupes qui cherche l’asile politique du parti communiste chinois. 3) Protéger les libertés fondamentales de l’érosion et combattre activement les interférences du parti communiste chinois dans la politique et les médias canadiens. 4) Enquêter sur l’influence étrangère des institutions publiques et privés canadiennes, incluant mais non limité aux associations étudiantes et académique, à l’institut Confucius, ou tout autre événement, voyage, ou dépenses financés par l’état chinois. 5) Condamner les violations des droits de la personne perpétrées par la chine, et mettre fin à tout exportation de matériel militaire et policier et de technologies qui serait utilisées pour violer les droits de la personnes par le partie communiste chinois.
